HTC Desire HD and Desire Z pre-orders have started
The HTC Desire HD and Desire Z have only been announced yesterday, but that didn’t stop many European retailers from starting pre-orders for what are now HTC’s highest-end smartphones.
And luckily those retailers were kind enough to also post the date when they expect to ship these devices. It looks like both smartphones will apparently ship on October 11th. Which is, you know, less than a month from now. Very cool indeed if this turns out to be true.
Now for the prices that are being asked. First up, we have the Desire HD, arguably HTC’s top of the line handset. Play has it for £470 (which is approximately €560), while Expansys are asking for £500 (€600).
The Desire Z is up for pre-order in more places, with Amazon in the UK and Germany joining the two aforementioned retailers in carrying it. Prices are as follows: £430 (€515) at Play, £450 (€540) at Expansys, £430 (€515) at Amazon UK and €549 at Amazon Germany. Note that Amazon Germany is the only one not specifically mentioning October 11th as the shipping date. That may, of course, change in the future.
So there you have it. If you’d like to pre-order one of these devices, there are, as you can see, already plenty of options. And plenty more are sure to follow.
