Bell’s BlackBerry Torch delayed until October 1. Telus version now on pre-order
Bell has delayed the launch of the new BlackBerry Torch 9800 in Canada by a week.
The carrier initially planned to release the new BlackBerry slider on September 24. However, it will only do it on October 1 – as it’s mentioned on its official website.
Bell’s Torch will cost $199.95 with a 3-yr contract agreement, or $599.95 free of contract.
Unlike Bell, both Telus and Rogers should have the BlackBerry Torch 9800 in stock on September 24. Telus even lets you pre-order the smartphone – enter your details here to pre-order it.
Another new BlackBerry that will be available in Canada soon is the Bold 9780, which could be released by Telus on October 24.
