RIM’s BlackBerry Storm 3 finally pictured?
While RIM has yet to officially confirm the existence of the BlackBerry Storm 3, an alleged photo of the upcoming smartphone has jus appeared on the Web.
If this is, indeed, the new Storm, then RIM has kept the overall look of the previous two models. However, what’s new (design-wise) is that the Storm 3 has an optical trackpad below the display – like the BlackBerry Torch 9800.
BerryReview claims that the BlackBerry Storm 3 features a 3.7 inch display and 8GB of internal memory. Other features (unconfirmed): Wi-Fi 802.11n, 512MB RAM, and 5MP camera.
The BlackBerry Storm 3 may be launched in the US by Verizon before the end of 2010, almost certainly with BlackBerry OS 6 on board. Since the new Storm will be a CDMA device, Sprint could also introduce it. More on this as we get it.
