Samsung Galaxy Apollo now available in Canada through Telus
Not long after launching the LG Shine Plus (aka LG Ally), Telus has now introduced another new Android smartphone in Canada, namely the Samsung Galaxy Apollo.
The Apollo (which is available in a special Ajax edition in the Netherlands) runs Android 2.1 and is a mid-range device targeted at those who don’t have enough money for the high-end Galaxy S.
The handset features a 3.2 inch HVGA touchscreen display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, Swype virtual keyboard, 3.5mm headset jack, stereo Bluetooth, 3MP autofocus camera, and a 2GB memory card in the box.
The prices at Telus are as follows:
- No term – $249.99
- 1 year term – $199.99
- 2 year term – $149.99
- 3 year term – $49.99
You can buy the Samsung Galaxy Apollo from Telus online here. The Canadian carrier currently sells a total of six Android smartphone models, including the Motorola Charm and the HTC Desire.
