MetroPCS launches Samsung Freeform II (SCH-R360)
Samsung and MetroPCS have announced a new phone today, the Freeform II or SCH-R360. Like its predecessor, the original Freeform, this is a low-end featurephone that packs a QWERTY keyboard in a candybar form factor.
The Freeform II also comes with a 2.2-inch screen, 1.3 MP camera, stereo Bluetooth and a multitude of MetroPCS-specific services, such as MetroNavigator GPS navigation, Metro 411 Directory Assistance, mobile IM, email and internet access.
The Freeform II also has a microSD card slot that can take cards up to 16 GB in capacity. It supports MetroPCS’ 3G network and comes with a 1000 mAh battery.
The Samsung Freform II should already be available from MetroPCS retail stores and online from Samsung.
