New BlackBerry Bold 9780 to be launched by Rogers on October 27?
The unannounced BlackBerry Bold 9780 will be available in Canada not only via Telus (apparently starting October 21), but also via Rogers.
However, the largest Canadian carrier will launch the new Bold a bit later than Telus.
According to TheBerryFix, Rogers will sell the BlackBerry Bold 9780 starting October 27. The price? $149.99 with a new 3-yr contract agreement.
The Bold 9780 is not too different from the older Bold 9700. The new stuff that it brings includes BlackBerry OS 6, a 5MP camera, and 512MB of RAM. Other than that, it should feature the same ol’ QWERTY keyboard, a 480 x 360 pixels display, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G and so on.
