Samsung E1252 to be the company’s cheapest dual SIM phone
If you thought Samsung couldn’t launch a dual SIM phone that’s cheaper than the E2152 (which costs around $80), check out the new Samsung GT-E1252.
Mobil.cz has it that the E1252 should cost only 800 CZK – that’s about $45 or €33, which makes the new phone almost as cheap as the Nokia C1-00.
Feature-wise, the Samsung E1252 obviously doesn’t offer too much:
- Dual-band GSM/EDGE connectivity (900/1800 MHz)
- 2 inch TFT display with 128 x 160 pixels and 256K colors
- FM radio
- MP3 ringtones
- SMS / MMS
- T9 predictive text input
- “Loud speaker”
- 1000 mAh battery (providing up to about 11 hours of talk-time)
The new dual SIM Samsung E1252 appears over at Samsung Russia and Samsung India’s websites, so it should be launched in these countries sometime soon.
