Dell to launch Venue Pro-like Android smartphone?
Dell is reportedly getting ready to unveil a new Android smartphone – but that’s hardly a surprise.
What may be surprising is that, according to PC World, the new Android smartphone will resemble the Venue Pro, which is Dell’s first Windows Phone 7 handset.
Expected to become available starting next month, the Venue Pro (seen below) has a WVGA touchscreen display and a sliding portrait QWERTY keyboard.
We’ve seen some upcoming Dell Android smartphones before, but none of them has the Venue Pro’s form factor (the Dell Smoke features a QWERTY keyboard, but it’s not a slider).
Dell could announce its new Android smartpohne in the coming months, when the company should also present a new 7 inch tablet.
