Motorola Quench XT3 with Android launched in India

Officially unveiled in July in Taiwan, the Motorola Quench XT3 Android smartphone is now available in India.

The Quench XT3 was first seen running Android 1.6, but now it has Android 2.1 Éclair – and while it may never be updated to Froyo, this is still good news.

The new handset features a 3.2 inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen display, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, Bluetooth, 3MP camera with flash, MicroSD card support, 512 MB ROM, 256MB RAM, and a 600MHz processor.

AndroidOS.in has it that the Moto Quench XT3 is priced at 12,990 INR (almost $300) in India. Another Motorola Android handset that should be released soon in the country is the QWERTY-equipped Charm.
