Telstra’s T-Touch Android tablet available starting today?
Telstra is apparently ready to start selling its own Android tablet, called T-Touch Tab and manufactured by Huawei (it’s actually a re-branded Ideos S7).
According to Telstra’s official website, those who have pre-ordered the T-Touch Tab should receive it starting today. The tablet costs $299 outright (no contract agreement required).
The T-Touch Tab currently runs Android 2.1, and Telstra doesn’t say if it will update it to Froyo or not.
The new tablet features a 7 inch display, HSPA (7.2Mbps), phone functionality, Wi-Fi, GPS, stereo Bluetooth, 2MP camera, and MicroSD card support (a 2GB card is pre-installed). You can check out more at Telstra’s website – of course, you can also order the tablet there.
