Motorola Cliq and Motorola Backflip finally get updated to Android 2.1
They’ve certainly been a long time coming, but Android 2.1 updates for two of Motorola’s less-loved (by their maker, not by consumers) smartphones have finally arrived.
1000 Motorola Backflip owners that had signed up via Motorola’s support forums already got the update, but now it’s available for everyone. The update is waiting for you on both Motorola’s and AT&T’s sites and the release notes are available here.
The update for the Motorola Cliq has been rumored for a long time, and now it’s also up for grabs. It’s available here on Motorola’s website, and make sure you follow the instructions that are published here.
