HTC Merge to be Verizon’s first LTE handset, Incredible HD coming in early 2011?
Although Verizon will probably announce and launch some new Android smartphones later today (as we’ve previously heard), the HTC Merge might not be among them.
According to a store manager at Verizon (check out all his tweets here), the Merge – pictured below – should be the carrier’s first LTE handset, and it may have been delayed, although an exact launch date is not known at the moment.
The rumored HTC Incredible HD should also be an LTE device, and it looks like Verizon plans to introduce it early next year, not on November 23.
Since this info is unconfirmed, we should first wait and see what Veirzon announces today. If the Merge and the Incredible HD won’t be among the newly-unveiled devices, there’s a good chance the details above are correct.
