Affordable Cricket TXTM8 3G messaging phone launched in the US
Cricket TXTM8 3G A410, a phone first seen in a leaked Cricket roadmap back in March, is now available for purchase via the regional US carrier.
The TXTM8 3G is Cricket’s first device “with high-speed EVDO capabilities” priced at under $100 – not well under $100, of course, since it costs $99.99.
The new phone features a full QWERTY keyboard, QVGA display, stereo Bluetooth, “real time web browsing”, “one key access to schedule”, email, 2MP camera with video recording, and MicroSD card support.
The TXTM8 3G is available online, in Cricket branded retail stores, and at select dealers. If you buy the handset online, you’ll pay only $79.99 for it (Cricket offers a web-only discount).
