Nokia E7 to be available in India in January 2011
Although Nokia said the E7 would ship starting December, the new Symbian^3 smartphone won’t actually be available in all markets next month.
Nokia India has just tweeted that Indian customers should expect to find the E7 in stores starting January next year. No word yet on the handset’s price in India, but it should be around 30,000 INR.
The E7 will be launched as Nokia’s new Eseries flagship, coming with full QWERTY keyboard, 4 inch AMOLED ClearBlack touchscreen display (360 x 640 pixels), and most of the features you can find included in the N8 (save for the camera, which is only an 8MP fixed-focus one on the E7).
Since the E7 has been approved by the FCC not long ago, US customers should also expect to see it in stores (or at least online, at Nokia’s Shop) sometime soon.
