Samsung Wave 723 launched in Germany, kind of expensive (€349)
When Samsung announced the Wave 723, it said the smartphone – its fourth based on Bada OS – would be available in Germany starting September.
However, that didn’t happen, and it’s only now that the Wave 723 can be purchased in Deutschland. The handset doesn’t cost €250, as initially rumored. At least not in Germany, where Samsung says you can get it for €349.
The new Wave 723 comes with a leather flip cover and features a 3.2 inch WQVGA touchscreen display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, Digital Natural Sound Engine, Bluetooth 3.0, 3.5mm headset jack, social networking integration, 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash, and MicroSD card support.
Starting this month (November), Samsung should also launch the Wave II S8530 in Germany – this will be more expensive, since it’s the new Bada flagship, retailing at €429.
