LG Optimus One available at Telus – it’s Canada’s cheapest Android Froyo phone
As expected, Telus has launched the LG Optimus One in Canada – the smartphone is available as of today and it’s free with the signing of a new 3-yr contract agreement.
The best part is that, if you want to buy the Optimus One without contract, you’ll have to pay only $199.99 for it.
The attractive pricing should allow Telus to sell lots of Optimus Ones, even though LG didn’t hire a beautiful woman to promote the handset (like it has done in the UK).
Although it’s really cheap – the cheapest Froyo handset you can find in Canada at the moment – the LG Optimus has lost of features, including HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, free turn-by-turn navigation, social networking integration, and so on. You can buy the Optimus One online at Telus. You can also check out our LG Optimus T review (there aren’t many differences between it and the Optimus One launched by Telus).
