Samsung Wave 723 with Bada launched in the UK by O2
A couple of weeks after landing in Germany, the Samsung Wave 723 has been now introduced in the UK, too.
For the moment, the new Bada-based smartphone is available only via O2, which offers if for free on contract (monthly plans of at least £20 – 100 minutes and unlimited texts included).
The Wave 723’s featues include a 3.2 inch WQVGA touchscreen dispaly, TouchWiz UI, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, HSDPA, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, 3.5mm headset jack, DNSe, FM recording, 5MP autofocus camera, and MicroSD card support (up to 16GB).
3G.co.uk says the Samsung Wave 723 is the first Bada smartphone launched in the UK, but that’s actually not true – the first was the Bada S8500, which is currently available via most major British carriers.
