Unboxing the LG Quantum: Brad’s First Impressions
Showing up fashionably late to the Windows Phone party, LG decided to make a large entrance with its first Windows Phone 7 entry in the US, the LG Quantum. Available on AT&T alongside the Samsung Focus and HTC Surround, the Quantum has a distinct form factor that no other US WP7 device does: a full horizontal slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
The LG Quantum packs a lot of firepower under its hood. A powerful 1 GHz processor and 256 MB RAM keeps it speedy; 5 MP camera with HD video recording makes your pictures and videos gorgeous; a hefty battery helps your Quantum last incredibly long; and the full keyboard lets you text and email quickly. Throw in a fresh new OS and we have ourselves a lot of intrigue following this particular device. It’s time to dig in a little more and get a good hands-on experience with the Quantum.
