Free Google eBooks app available for Android, iPhone, iPad (video)
The same day it unveiled Android 2.3 Gingerbread and the new Nexus S, Google has announced the availability of Google eBooks for Android, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Web, Nook and Sony readers.
Available via the new Google eBookstore (accessible here), Google eBooks offers more than 3 million titles, both free and paid.
The Google eBooks apps for Android and iPhone are free and feature:
- Mobile eBookstore
- Adjust text size, typeface, line space, justification
- Free samples of books
- Night-reading mode
- Information about books
- Offline reading
- “Worry-free archive”
