BlackBerry 9570 Storm 3 confirmed by Best Buy, still no word on its launch date
By Florin on 07 Dec 10The existence of RIM’s BlackBerry 9570 Storm 3 seems to be confirmed now by Best Buy, which lists the unannounced smartphone among other RIM handsets that are already available.
Unfortunately, there are still no details regarding the new Storm’s launch date – we’ve even heard that it may have been cancelled (although, of course, we can’t be sure of that just yet).
In fact, it’s still not clear whether or not the Storm 9570 is just a Storm 2 with BlackBerry OS 6 and more RAM (as previously rumored).
In any case, RIM will definitely launch new touchscreen smartphones soon – it remains to be seen if they’re included in the Storm series, or if they’ll be Torch successors.
