HTC Wildfire getting Android 2.2 Froyo this week in Europe
The Wildfire is one of HTC’s cheapest Android smartphones, but that doesn’t mean the company doesn’t care about it.
And to prove this, HTC has just announced (on Facebook) that the Wildfire would be officially updated to Android 2.2 Froyo this week – in fact, Vodafone UK is rolling out the update today.
Only users in Europe will get the update now, but HTC says users around the world will also have it “by February.”
Ok, so if it the Wildfire runs 2.2 Froyo starting this week, it can also run 2.3 Gingerbread sometime later, right HTC?
