HTC Desire Z launching in India next week?
Earlier this month, we told you that HTC would launch the Desire HD and Desire Z in India.
While the Desire HD has been released since then, the Z is not yet available. However, it looks like Indian customers will be able to buy it as soon as next week.
Online retailer Flipkart lets you pre-order the Desire Z for 25,799 INR ($575), saying that it will ship it on January 3.
Running Android 2.2 (most likely upgradeable to 2.3 Gingerbread), the HTC Desire Z features a sliding QWERTY keyboard, a 3.7 inch WVGA display, 5MP autofocus camera, and an 800MHz Qualcomm processor.
As for the Desire HD, this currently costs 27,499 INR ($612) in India.
