LG Optimus 2X on pre-order in the UK, £499.99 unlocked
LG Optimus 2X, the world’s first dual-core Android smartphone, will be available in the UK starting February – at least that’s what Expansys says.
The retailer currently lets customers pre-order the Optimus 2X for £499.99 (about €600 or $779). If you order the handset now, you should receive it on February 21.
Running Android 2.2 Froyo (upgradeable to 2.3 Gingerbread), the LG Optimus 2X features a 4 inch WVGA touchscreen display, 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core processor, Dolby Mobile sound, 8MP autofocus camera, full HD (1024p) video recording, 8GB of internal memory, and MicroSD card support.
As previously reported, the Optimus 2X will come with exclusive music composed by Ennio Morricone.
LG hopes to sell 30 million smartphones this year, including lots of Optimus 2X units.
