Three AT&T Windows Phone 7 devices free at NewEgg, LG Optimus 7 now only $49.99 from Telus
It’s price cutting season for Windows Phone 7 devices in North America, or so it would seem. If for some reason Amazon’s offering of the AT&T Samsung Focus, LG Quantum and HTC Surround for one US cent seemed too expensive for you, NewEgg has done one better and outright offers the same three devices for free.
Free, that is, if you agree to sign a new 2-year contract with AT&T. But you already knew that, since you know that nothing is really free in today’s world. Anyway, if you’re after a WP7 device on AT&T, you can now get any of the three for the lowest upfront price imaginable.

Up North, in Canada, Telus has also cut the price of the LG Optimus 7. It’s now offering the smartphone for $49.99 with a new 3-year contract. If you’d rather commit for a shorter period of time, you can also get the Optimus 7 for $399.99 on 2-year and $449.99 on 1-year. Opting not to commit to a long-term contract at all you’ll be able to get the phone for $499.99.
