Samsung Star II officially priced (in Germany): €199. Amazon has it for only €113
Earlier this week, when Samsung unveiled the new Star II s5260 touchscreen phone, it didn’t say how much the handset would cost. We’ve heard its price would be around €125, but it looks like Samsung disagrees.
The company has just announced that the Star II would cost €199 in Germany.
However, like in the case of other Samsung phones (Wave II and Wave 723) Amazon.de lets you pre-order the Star II for much less: only €113.5 ($154).
The Star II builds on the success of the original Samsung Star phone (sold in more than 30 million units worldwide), coming with TouchWiz UI 3.0, a 3 inch WQVGA (240 x 400) touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, social networking integration, Quick Type, Bluetooth 3.0, 3.2MP photo camera, and MicroSD card support.
The new handset will be available starting next month, in two color versions: ceramic white and onyx black.
