Samsung Wave II with Bada 1.2 comes to South Korea this month
Samsung will launch the Wave II, also known as the SHW-M210S, in South Korea later this month, according to The Chosun Ilbo. The phone has, until now, been sold in Germany.
The Wave II, not to be confused with the Samsung Wave 2, is a smartphone powered by Samsung’s own Bada operating system. The Wave II runs Bada 1.2, the latest version of the OS.
The Samsung Wave II has a 3.7-inch Super Clear LCD touchscreen, a 1 GHz processor, a 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording, GPS, DMB, Wi-Fi, DLNA, Bluetooth, and a 3.5-mm headset jack.
Following availability in Samsung’s home country, the Wave II is surely also headed toward other territories, to capture as much market share as possible for Samsung’s still young smartphone OS.
