Motorola Xoom Can Now Be Ordered at Best Buy; Release Date is Feb 24
We’ve ooh’d and ahh’d over the Motorola Xoom at CES and MWC so far this year, and now it’s finally becoming a real for-sale product. Over the weekend Best Buy began accepting pre-orders for the Xoom at the standard $799 price tag, and will come complete with Verizon’s 3G broadband service (with LTE on the way later this year).
Also important is now we have an official release date, and it’s pretty darn soon: this Thursday, to be exact.
Fortunately there is no contract or obligation assigned to the Xoom for the $799 price, though you may have to sign up for a Verizon 3G data plan still.
We’re excited to get our hands on a Xoom, because there is frankly quite a lot to be excited about with the Xoom. Check out the pre-order page linked below!
