Samsung Corby II S3850 officially announced, it’s like an Android-less Galaxy Mini

Samsung has finally announced the Corby II S3850, a new touchscreen phone that comes to build on the success of the older Corby handsets (sold in millions of units all over the world).

The Corby II S3850 looks almost like the Galaxy Mini. It has the same size, and it even shares some features with the Mini, including Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DNSe sound enhancement, social networking integration, 3.5mm headset jack, and the 3.14 inch QVGA touchscreen display.

Of course, the new Corby is not an Android smartphone, it’s just a featurephone with TouchWiz UI and no 3G connectivity. The handset also comes with a 2MP camera, and MicroSD card support.

Samsung Corby II will be available starting late March in Germany. After that, the phone will be released across Europe, Latin America, Asia (India, China, the Middle East), and Africa. Pricing details have not been announced.
