HTC Thunderbolt launch date and price officially confirmed by Verizon: March 17, $249
Verizon has finally announced the official launch date of the HTC Thunderbolt, its first LTE smartphone. As expected, the handset will be available for purchase starting March 17 (this Thursday).
Verizon will sell the Thunderbolt for $249.99 with a new 2-yr contract agreement.
In case you think that’s expensive, Wirefly lets you have the Thunderbolt for only $199.99 (or $669.99 free of contract). Check out Wirefly’s offer here.
Until May 15, Verizon will offer free Mobile Hotspot to Thunderbolt customers. After this date, you’ll have to pay $20 for 2 GB of data per month if you still want to use the feature.
So, are you getting a Thunderbolt? Or you just couldn’t stand the wait and bought a Verizon iPhone 4 instead?
