LG Optimus C bringing Android Froyo to Cricket this week?
Cricket is reportedly the latest US carrier to join the Optimus One bandwagon.
The regional mobile operator seems to be readying the launch of the LG Optimus C – which, of course, is nothing more than a re-branded LG Optimus One Android smartphone.
PhoneNews has it that Cricket will launch the Optimus C this week, on March 17. Most likely, Cricket will offer the smartpohne for a price similar to the one of MetroPCS’ Optimus M ($199).
Here’s what the Optimus C may look like:
Running Android 2.2 Froyo, the LG Optimus C will come with a 3.2 inch HVGA multi-touch display, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, 3.2MP camera, 600MHz processor, and MicroSD card support.
