Motorola Xoom (Wi-Fi only) and Moto Defy will be launched by Telus in Canada

Telus has officially announced that it would offer the Wi-Fi-only version of Motorola’s Xoom Android tablet.

The Canadian carrier didn’t say when exactly the tablet would be available, but customers should expect to see it in stores starting April, “for as little as $599.99.”

Running Android 3.0 Honeycomb, the Motorola Xoom features a 10.1 inch HD display, 3D UI, GPS, HDMI, 5MP rear camera, 2MP front-facing camera, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of storage space, and a dual-core 1GHz processor.

Until we hear more from Telus, here’s our Motorola Xoom review (Verizon version).

MobileSyrup is reporting on another Moto Android device that’s coming to Telus soon, namely the rugged Motorola Defy (which will be launched with Android 2.2 Froyo).
