HTC Merge pre-orders starting on March 28 at Alltel
While Verizon may or may not want to launch the HTC Merge, we know for certain who will: Alltel.
The regional carrier (which, after being bought by Verizon serves slightly less than 1 million customers) will allow users to pre-order the Merge starting March 28.
The smartphone’s price will be of $124.99 (after a mail-in rebate, and with a new 2-yr contract agreement).

Running Android 2.2 Froyo, the HTC Merge comes with a sliding QWERTY keyboard, 3.8 inch WVGA display, Sense UI, Wi-Fi, GPS, 5MP autofocus camera, 720p video recording, and an 800MHz processor. The smartphone can be also pre-ordered in India.
