BlackBerry PlayBook battery life: is it 8 hours, or 10 hours?
Already available for pre-order at Best Buy, the BlackBerry PlayBook should be released on April 19 in the US.
Until then, and before considering buying RIM’s first tablet, you may want to know about its battery life.
RIM didn’t officially mention the battery life, but Staples did. According to the retailer (which also takes pre-orders for the tablet), the PlayBook battery life is 8 hours “with continual use.”
However, CrackBerry posted an image – also taken from Staples – which shows the battery life to be 10 hours. Most likely, RIM is still doing some tweaks, so we won’t know the exact battery life until the PlayBook is finally released.
In the US, the BlackBerry PlayBook will cost $499, $599, or $699 (depending on the version you’re buying: 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB).
