Samsung Starr II S5260 to be launched in India soon
Already available in some European markets (like Germany, where Amazon is selling it), the Samsung Starr II S5260 will be released in India soon.
Announced as the official successor of the Star S5230, the new Star II is an affordable featurephone that comes with a 3 inch WQVGA touchscreen display, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, stereo FM radio, document viewer, 3MP camera, and MicroSD card support.
Samsung promises “to deliver a superior mobile social networking experience” with the Star II, thanks to TouchWiz 3.0 UI and built-in widgets (including Facebook and Twitter widgets).
According to SamsungHub, the Star II S5260 will cost about 6,540 INR ($147) in India. The phone’s exact launch date is not known at the moment.
