Verizon brings Opera Mini to its feature phones
Verizon has just announced that Opera Mini – one of the world’s most popular mobile browsers – is now available on some of its feature phones, including: Samsung Alias 2, LG enV Touch, LG enV 3, LG enV 2, Casio G’zOne Rock, and Casio G’zOne Ravine.
Later this year, Verizon will pre-load Opera Mini as the primary browser on select new handsets.
Verizon feature phone owners can find the free Opera Mini app in Media Center/Get It Now, or via the carrier’s online media store.
Opera Mini promises to bring PC-like web browsing on your feature phone. By using Opera’s unique compression technology, the browser delivers web pages to phones faster.
