Samsung Galaxy Neo Android smartphone announced
Samsung has officially unveiled a new Galaxy smartphone in Korea: the Galaxy Neo SHW-M220L.
At first, I thought the Neo is the Korean version of the unannounced Galaxy S II Mini, but its specs contradict this, and it turns out it’s just an improved Galaxy Ace.
The Neo (a rather curious name, if we think about Sony Ericsson’s similarly-named Android handset) runs Android 2.2 and comes with a 3.5 inch WVGA display, Wi-Fi, GPS, T-DMB, 3.5mm headset jack, 3MP camera, 4GB of on-board memory, and an 800 MHz processor.
The Samsung Galaxy Neo should be available soon via LG U+, South Korea’s third largest mobile carrier. Samsung didn’t say if it plans to launch the new smartphone in other countries. Anyway, you can check out the Neo here at Samsung Korea’s website.
