Sony Ericsson Xperia Play and Arc available in India
By Florin on 04 Apr 11Officially launched in some European and Asian markets on April 1, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play (the world’s first PlayStation certified smartphone) is now available in India, too.
Indian customers can buy the Xperia Play for 31,000 – 32,000 INR (about $700) from some retail stores, as well as online – for example, Flipkart has the smartphone, and says it can ship it in 4 business days.
Another new Android 2.3 handset from Sony Ericsson that’s been released in India is the Xperia Arc. Also available both in stores and online, the Xperia Arc is a bit cheaper than the Xperia Play: about 29,000 INR ($654).
