Cheap Samsung C414 clamshell featurephone now available at Videotron in Canada
After having been launched by Mobilicity last month, the affordable Samsung C414 has made it to Videotron as well. This is dubbed the C414V, whereas Mobilicity’s SKU is C414Y – that last letter seems to indicate the carrier.
The device appears to be the same if you disregard the branding though. This is no smartphone, and even for a featurephone it’s really nothing to write home about in this day and age. Yet for some, it may be a perfect phone – because that’s what this is: a phone first.
Talking and (some) texting seem to be the main focus points for this handset. Videotron is asking $149.95 for it without any contract, or you could get it for just $49.95 on what the carrier calls “reduced price”.
The Samsung C414V has a 2.2-inch internal screen, a 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth support, music and video player, and a microSD card slot that can take cards up to 16 GB in size.
To get yours, just head on over to Videotron here.
