HTC Flyer launching in Europe on May 9
Earlier today, when HTC officially announced the Sensation / Pyramid (and the US-bound 4G version), the company has also unveiled the European launch date of its first tablet, the HTC Flyer.
In consequence, we now know that the Flyer will be available across Europe starting May 9.
As previously reported, the tablet can be pre-ordered already in the UK, where both Clove and The Carphone Warehouse are offering it for £599.99 (including VAT).
The HTC Flyer currently runs Android Gingerbread, but it will be upgraded to Android 3.0 Honeycomb after launch. Unfortunately, HTC didn’t say when exactly this will happen.
