Nokia C5-04 now available from Wind Mobile in Canada for $150 sans contract
The oddly named (but not for Nokia, clearly) Nokia C5-04 was supposed to be released by Wind Mobile in Canada five days ago, on April 7. But something has apparently delayed it a bit, and it’s only now become officially available from Wind Mobile in Canada.
Wind will sell you a Nokia C5-04 for $150 – and that’s with no contract required. If you don’t mind Symbian^1 (also known as S60 5th Edition), this is quite a bargain. The Nokia C5-04 has a 3.2-inch 640×360 touchscreen, a 5-megapixel camera with video recording, a 600 MHz processor, 128 MB of RAM, 40 MB of internal storage expandable via a microSD card slot, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 1000 mAh battery. You also get HD voice support, and Nokia’s Ovi Store as well as Ovi Maps with free worldwide navigation and offline map access.
The Nokia C5-04 is an AWS version of the Nokia C5-03, an affordable smartphone that has already been launched elsewhere. If you don’t necessarily lust after the latest iPhone or Android handset, but would like an affordable, yet quite capable smartphone, the C5-04 may be for you. Head on over here at Wind Mobile to order one.
