Sony Ericsson Xperia Play and Xperia Arc will be available from Rogers in Canada on April 28
In Canada, Rogers is busy getting ready to launch the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play and Xperia Arc. So far, it’s only officially said that these devices are coming “during Spring 2011″, however more information has surfaced today.
A reliable tipster has informed MobileSyrup that the launch date for both of the aforementioned Android-powered smartphones has been set by Rogers, and it’s going to be Thursday, April 28. If you head to Rogers now, you can already pre-order either device.
As for pricing, both the Xperia Play and the Xperia Arc will set you back $99.99 with a new three-year contract. If you’d rather not sign any long-term agreements, you can still get either handset for $549.99 without a contract.
So if you’re in Canada and are waiting for the world’s first PlayStation-certified smartphone, or one of the slimmest smartphones on the market, to reach you, you’ve only got a little more than two weeks of waiting to do.
