Sony Ericsson SK17i (Xperia Mini Pro II) shows up again
One of Sony Ericsson’s unannounced Android smartphones – which may be called Xperia Mini Pro II – has appeared in a new set of photos, this time allowing us to take a look at its UI.
The handset (model name SK17i) runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and comes with a Corner UI similar to what we’ve seen on the original Xperia Mini and Xperia Mini Pro models.
Just like its predecessor, the new Xperia Mini Pro has a sliding QWERTY keyboard. Its display is larger, though (3 inch, 320 x 480 pixels), and the other specs have been bumped up, too, now including a 1GHz processor and a 5MP camera with 720p video recording.
Assuming it will be announced soon, the SK17i Xperia Mini Pro II should become SE’s fifth Android 2.3 Gingerbread handset – after the Xperia Arc, Xperia Play, Xperia Neo, and Xperia Pro.
