Sprint Nexus S 4G pre-orders start at Best Buy, T-Mobile’s Nexus S now only $99.99 with contract
Sprint’s version of the Google Nexus S may have been announced on March 21, but the carrier still hasn’t said anything about when it will become available. And it’s quite clear that Sprint customers waiting for a ‘pure Google’ Android smartphone would like to know.
Sadly, it’s still not clear when exactly the device will start shipping. However, it’s bound to be soon, especially considering that Best Buy has now started taking pre-orders for it. Unfortunately Best Buy doesn’t have any shipping info either, and the price is the standard $199.99 with a new two-year contract. What’s rather strange is that Best Buy has started taking pre-orders online today, yet it has been accepting pre-orders in its stores since the day the Nexus S 4G was announced.
In other Nexus S news, the T-Mobile version of the smartphone can now be yours for just $99.99, also from Best Buy. The new two-year contract is obviously still required, but you get to purchase the handset for exactly half its normal asking price. That’s a good deal if you don’t mind the contract and want a Nexus S in the US right this moment.
Head on over to Best Buy online to either pre-order the Nexus S 4G for Sprint, or order a Nexus S for T-Mobile for the aforementioned reduced price.
