Google Translate for Android updated, now speaks translations in 24 languages

If you often rely on Google Translate for Android, you should be happy to find out that the application has been updated, now letting you listen to translations in three new languages: Japanese, Korean, and Arabic.

The updated also “dramatically improves” the quality of spoken translations in lots of languages (more than 15), including Chinese, Russian, and Portuguese.

Google Translate works on Android handsets that run 2.1 or newer versions. It can be downloaded via Android Market, or by scanning the QR code found here at the Google Mobile Blog.
