T-Mobile Sidekick 4G, LG G-Slate, and G2X all now officially available for purchase
T-Mobile had a very big Android release day today. They released three major Android devices: Sidekick 4G, LG G-Slate, and the G2X.
The SideKick 4G will retail for $99.99 on a two year contract, or $379.99 if you choose to forego the contract. A few interesting specs. of the Sidekick are:
- Texting evolved: Reply-all Group Text and texting from the web with Cloud Text
- Lighting-fast 4G data download speeds
- Front-facing camera for T-Mobile Video Chat powered by Qik™
- 3.5 inch touch screen, speedy 1 Ghz processor, five-row QWERTY keyboard
The G2X will retail for $199.99 on contract, or $499.99 with no contract commitments. Here are the official specs:
- NVIDIA® Tegra™ 2 AP20H dual-core processor (2X 1 GHz)
- Google Android™ 2.2 (Froyo) preinstalled (upgradable to Android 2.3)
- 8 GB of internal memory (ROM)
- 4G capable: Browse the web, download content, and stream media faster on T-Mobile’s 4G network.
- Corning Gorilla Glass capacitive touch screen with 800-by-400-pixel resolution
- 1080p HD video capture and sharing
Lastly the LG G-Slate will go for $529.99 on contract, or $749.99 with no contract. Here are a few interesting features:
- Brilliant 8.9’’ HD touch screen
- HD and 3D video capture and playback
- Tabbed Web browsing with full Flash support
- Lightning-fast dual-core 1 GHz processor
T-Mobile didn’t waste any time with releasing all three of these devices today.
