Samsung Galaxy S II now priced at €545 in Germany, should ship in 4-5 weeks
The high-end Samsung Galaxy S II i9100 is not yet available, but it will be starting next month. While in the UK the smartphone should be released on the very first day of May, it looks like it’s going to be available only towards the end of the month in Germany.
Amazon Germany currently lets you order the new Galaxy S II for €545.90 (about $797), saying it will ship it in 4 to 5 weeks. Of course, the shipping date may change at any time.
The Galaxy S II is Samsung’s first Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphone, as well as the first to feature a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Plus display, and a dual-core 1.2GHz processor.
The new Galaxy has appeared in several TV commercials recently, the latest showcasing its thinness (only 8.5mm).
