Android 2.3.4 update heading to Nexus S via OTA, will bring Video/Voice chat to Gtalk
The latest Gingerbread update brings a few bug fixes, optimizations and one major feature that many people have been waiting for: Gtalk video chatting.
Google will be distributing the update within the next few weeks to the Nexus S. Other Gingerbread devices will be getting the update “soon.” Anyone with the update and with a Gtalk account will be able to video or voice chat with other users over a wireless connection, whether it be 3G, 4G, or WiFi.
Google has promised Nexus S users another surprise in the future, although they didn’t hint at what it might be. For now though, you can enjoy video chatting via Gtalk on your Nexus S.
