LG Optimus Black headed to Orange UK
Expected to be released by T-Mobile in the UK next month (May), the LG Optimus Black is also coming to Orange – and maybe that shouldn’t be a surprise, since Orange and T-Mobile have joined forces to form Everything Everywhere.
Orange doesn’t say when exactly it wants to start selling the Optimus Black, but it will happen pretty soon. In any case, the handset will be free on select plans.
Just like the Optimus 2X, the LG Optimus Black runs Android 2.2, but it’s upgradeable to 2.3 Gingerbread. The smartphone features a 4 inch WVGA Nova display, Wi-Fi, HSPA, GPS, 5MP camera with 720p video recording, 2MP front-facing camera, and a 1GHz TI OMAP processor.
