LG Optimus Pad priced at £799 in the UK
Already available in Japan and in the US (as T-Mobile G-Slate), the LG Optimus Pad is coming soon to the UK.
In fact, Carphone Warehouse says the Optimus Pad is already in stock, although I doubt it will ship it right away if you order it now.
What’s really surprising (in a bad way) is the price Carphone asks for the new Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablet: £799 (about $1,330). That’s way higher even than the price of the most expensive iPad (£659).
I’m pretty sure the price of the Optimus Pad will be lowered soon, so you may want to wait a bit before buying it.
