Motorola Droid 3 and Droid X2 show up in Best Buy’s system; launching soon?
Verizon’s upcoming Motorola Droid 3 and Droid X2 are still not officially announced, so we can’t say for sure when they will be released. However, chances are that this will happen pretty soon, since both Android smartphones – model numbers XT862 and MB870 – have recently appeared in Best Buy’s system.
I guess the image below can be taken as a confirmation that the handsets will be called Droid 3 and Droid X2 (or maybe X^2?) when launched.
Neither of the two Droids are LTE handsets (like the delayed Motorola Droid Bionic), but this definitely doesn’t mean they’re devices that customers won’t want to have – especially since they’ll feature qHD (960 x 540) displays. And maybe Android 2.3, too.
